June 30, 2001, 8:00 pm at Raza Singapura Restaurant G/F Rotary Center Bldg., Roces Ave. cor. Mother Ignacia St., Quezon City Present:   • George P. Virtucio The meeting started at exactly 9:15 pm after all the members present had dinner. It was presided by the Chairman, George P. Excarraga, with the undersigned assisting for the minutes of the meeting. The group followed the agenda prepared by the Chairman for the June 30, 2001 meeting which was also published in the yahoogroups. REPORT OF THE TREASURER As of June 28, 2001, the cash contributions on hand amounted to P27,200.00 inclusive of the contributions of Messrs. Eric de Mesa and Jake Gonzales at P5,000.00 each. Jojo Caimol's father will also deposit P1,000.00 to the account. During the June 12, 2001 meeting, those present were tasks to ask other batchmates' for their contributions. The endeavor resulted to a commitment in the total amount of P18,000.00. Based on the abovementioned commitments, it was alright to accept the offer of Mr. Roy Fernandez, however, Jonas Del Rosario suggested that the persons responsible for the collection of the committed contributions shall advance the amount. The amount advanced by Roy Fernandez shall be paid on July 21, 2001, the foundation's next meeting. Roy Fernandez issued a check (Global Bank Check No. 0042507 dated June 30, 2001 in the amount of P21,800 to complete the minimum capitalization of the Foundation in the amount of P50,000.00. SECRETARY'S REPORT During the June 12, 2001 meeting, thirteen (13) batch mates attended the meeting. Since the Foundation needs fifteen (15) members of the Board, the group suggested that the 13 who attended, namely:   • George P. Ilagan   • Adrian Lecaros   • Joseph Literal   • Miel Magana   • Ben Racela   • Gretz Rivera   • Leo Virtucio be the incorporators for registration purposes until new directors are elected on a meeting (general assembly) duly called for the purpose. The undersigned, as Secretary, volunteered to be excluded from the lists of incorporators to give way to other active members. The other active members not present during the June 12, 2001 meeting who may want to be incorporators are:   • Mon Correa   • Raul Clemente   • Jeff Pizarro   • Egay Castillo   • AJ Fausto   • Apaul Fausto Raul Clemente begged off and was replaced by Dr. Jonas Del Rosario. The meeting was adjourned by the Chairman at exactly 10:30 p.m. Any one from the June 12, 2001 attendees who does not wish to be incorporators and other batchmates who may wish to be incorporators, on the other hand, must coordinate with Philip Felix on the matter. The Organizing Committee must have the Foundation registered by July 15, 2001. WEBMASTER / MEMBERSHIP REPORT First of all, we would like to congratulate the IT Group / Web Team for a job well done. Excellent. BUSINESS MATTERS Projects Committee The Group agreed to hold the Medical and Dental Mission on October 2001 - birthday of St. Francis of Assisi. Project Committee members are:   • Reuel Almario   • Boom San Agustin For the Medical and Dental Mission:   • Dr. Jonas Del Rosario - Chairman   • Dr. Ben Racela - Vice-Chairman Roy Fernandez - was designated as the point man to coordinate with the drug companies and the school. Gift Giving - scheduled December 2001   • Leo Virtucio - Chairman   • Boom San Agustin - Vice Chairman   • Dennis Ilagan - Consultant The group will coordinate with the Lourdes Parish Pastoral Council for the project. Grand Reunion - scheduled February 2002   • Mon Correa - Chairman   • Shirley Felix - Vice-Chairperson Over-all coordinator of the PROJECTS is Reuel Almario All chairmen must give their plans/programs on the next meeting to be held on July 21, 2001. Ways and Means Committee The Committee will be chaired by Dr. Ben Racela Finance Committee Scrapped due to the appointment of Roy Fernandez as Internal Auditor / Treasurer(?)
