Welcome to our time capsule. Step through three decades of our online journey and explore every iteration of our batch website — from its humble beginnings to the present day. Please note that there might be some links to sites that no longer exist. Also, some sections may not behave as originally intended, as they’ve undergone some translation to try to achieve compatibility with modern day browsers.

This iteration marked our move to our own domain — lsqc82.org. Prior to this, our website relied on free hosting platforms and often featured banner ads. The shift was part of our preparations for our Silver Anniversary homecoming in 2007.

That same year saw the launch of the Sons of Lourdes Goodwill Games — featuring basketball, badminton, golf, and billiards — as well as the introduction of our batch coat-of-arms, a concept later adopted by succeeding batches.

In the pre-social media era, the website served as our central hub. Event photos were regularly documented here, often accompanied by write-ups, while the Articles section (Features > Articles) reached its peak during this time. Do find time to revisit it so you could rediscover Doctor Love, Quick Wits, etc.

Following the 2009 homecoming, however, the site gradually fell inactive. With the rise of Facebook and the shift in how we connected online, the website lost its relevance, leading to a long hiatus.

Another major revamp of the website. By this time, our US-based batchmates were very active as well. This was also the year we launched Oktubeerit, marking the start of an annual musical tradition for years to come.

The year 2001 saw three iterations of our website, with this as the final version. It was created as we geared up for our 20th anniversary in 2002. Our batch foundation has just been launched at this time, as well as our 3 YahooGroups — lsqc82, lsqc82classified, and lsqc82lighterside. We would soon host a 9-Ball Tournament, followed by 9-Ball Challenge II in 2002.

This marked the debut of the Lookalikes section. At this time, Google just launched its image search and we immediately put it to good use. This section, which we initially called Celebrity Lookalikes quickly became a hit and remained a staple in every subsequent version of the website, adding more and more victims, um, entries, as time went on.

This was my first prototype. Note that many of the sections were left under construction as I quickly abandoned the overall design within just a couple of months. Its basic structure, however, would more or less be retained in the succeeding versions.

This was our very first batch website. It was created by Jeff Manulid just as we entered our 15th anniversary. This marked the first time our batch came together since we graduated in 1982. Building our directory was the crucial first step and this website played a vital role in consolidating us.
