Batchmates,

Pax et Bonum!

We would like to thank everyone who have supported the grand alumni homecoming last 25 February 2006 inspite what happened earlier in the day in our country.

Our batch won the grandslam both for the most number of attendees in terms of percentage and the accuracy of predicting the number of paid attendees. Both feats earned our batch Php10,000.00 worth of food and drinks in Blue Ginger, the fave hangout of most alumni specially after meetings.

At the end of the day, however, the winner is always the alumni association because the bonding among other batches became evident and united as Lourdesians.

We have shown a sneak preview of what to expect in next year's homecoming right after the turnover ceremonies. After four years of existence as a group, we are now entering another phase in our batch.

This is just the beginning of more exciting things to come...

Quezon City. Sent a Text Message Lets celebr8 2geder 2nyt 6pm d 51st LSQC Alumni Homecoming & witness N FULL FORCE d ceremonial turnover of r batch hosting next years homecoming. PUNTA KA NA!

Erwin Paz and I were upstairs in LSQC Grade School Gym overseeing the Sons of Lourdes Goodwill Games Basketball downstairs was very evident as Batch81 gets ready with their Feel So Good Alumni Homecoming Edition preparations the stage, lighting and sound equipment, the chairs & tables, etc.

Games and the practice of a band were on going at the same time. Most of participants inside the gym can smell burning charcoal that reminded them of the lechon baboy and the lechon baka.

As the registration for the event, approaches Erwin, I took turns, (enjoying the charming sight and appealing smell of usherettes before the check-in I meant sign in) moreover we were surprised that Erwin was the second to register then I was third. It turned out that Vingo Cordero registered first.

While waiting for the last games results of SOLGG basketball elimination round to end, we went down to get and enjoy the free buying outside treat bola-bola and sago, ice cream and the hot kornik upstairs inside the gym

After the final buzzer sounded, we proceeded to the grounds and hang around for batch mates to arrive plus taking pleasure in the free buying outside delicacy bola-bola and sago. Noticed missing was the delectable lumpia served on a cut grade 1 sheet of paper.

Our principal then Mr. Santos express that our batch is the most active and owns the best dynamic web site so far. May exchange of pleasantries pa with Mrs. Catotocan, Mrs. Vi (asking for Mrs. Fajardo-Kellys email address), Mrs. Santos, Mr. Pastor, Mr. Aunario and Mr. de Guzman. Remember Ms. Jallorina? Hehehe! May-a__m pa..

It was past seven when the mass started. After that was the blessing of the food subsequently, food was served. Boy! It was another indulgence! The food was talagang masarap! Hitting the right spots sa tummy!

We were still eating while the program carried on music, raffle, acknowledging guest and faculty members. Next, was the serving of beer and pulutan naga-overflow!

The moment we were waiting for took place. The Lourdes School of Quezon City Alumni Association Inc. President Roehl Dumlao called Batch81 to gather at his right side of the stage and requested Batch82 to be at his left. The ceremonial turnover commenced as Batch82 President George Escarraga accepted and presented a sneak preview audio-visual presentation for the 2007s Alumni Homecoming.

Another production by LSQC1982 Films (preview approved for all batches by the LSQCAAI) Rewind: A Blast from the Past. A narrative voice over ni Lolo Toti Esguerra making kwento about our highlights and invitation na rin then ang nakakataas balahibo while we were watching was morphing of the following: Lolo Jonas, Lolo George E., Lolo Ahorney Joseph, Lolo Boom, Ms. Teody Canave, Mr. Paras, Fr. Ed & Fr. Troy --- Ang morphing ay from their present appearance to the 25 years ago look Ang tindi!!! Yahhhooooo! Grabe!

Ala Back to the Future ang teaser. Showing the time control, the car etc. at Coming in February 24, 2007 na!!! Ang emcee nga na si George Boone was amongst us watching in admiration Well done! Nice one! Mabuhay ka Raul Clemente! Mabuhay!

My humble estimation the sneak preview was an outstanding break sa inum and tsibog, leaving the audience in surprise and wonderment. Afterwards, some people came to encourage us, gave confidence and support! Looking forward in anticipation of a first rate celebration next year

Then patuloy ang drinking and eating reminiscing alaskahan tawanan courtesy ni Michael Bernos it was a pairing night for Ted may mga lolas na way past their beauty sleep was still having cool fun with us (boylet quest kaya or hinihintay si George E. malasing! HAHAHA! ) Ang mga pabling ng batch natin eh pinaligiran ang mga usherettes ng batch81 akala pati ang mga girls na ito eh kasama sa turnover! HAHAHA!!

We won two prizes that night for the most number of attendees (30) in terms of percentage and the accuracy of predicting the number of paid attendees. In the bag ang Php10,000.00 worth of food and drinks sa Blue Ginger receiving the gift check was birthday boy Joey Abarquez, who spoke a little English thanking the presenters!! (Tama ang English niya that night pero inaawat na naming kasi nakainom na eh at baka mabulol pag mahaba ang sasabihin.. hehehe!)

Ang the drinking spree continues

We miss some guys who we know would definitely present for this occasion. We miss you batch mates, teachers and friends abroad!!

Anyway, this serves an invitation looking forward to experience with you our 25th graduation anniversary next year! Kita-kits
