Wow Pare! Ang saya-saya! It was indeed a night of jamming and party!
SMS received reads:
r batch s hosting OktuBEERit, proudly 3rd yr na. A nyt of fun w/ live bands 2 ntertain us. Drink ol u can + pulutan @350. PUNTA KA sa LSQC HS Oct 15 Sabado 7pm!
Some came, some did not but again it was a night of jamming!
6:45pm. When you enter the LSQC HS gate ang meet mo (excluding the guard ha!) ay batch mates natin sina Reggie (Happy Birthday!), Bernie, Doc Robert and Leo V. smiling attending to your registration. While receiving warm greetings and your shelling out your entrance fee, one cannot help but whiff the scrumptious smell of the LECHON BAKA.
As you go into the party grounds mayroong sasalubong sa iyo Pare! Kamusta na? O help yourself ha, self service may lechon baka doon, mga ice cold beer dyan at fish balls dito. Enjoy the rest of the evening, pre! Si Joey A. naman ang makikita mong busy sa area na ito.
The party was formally opened by Leo Virtucio82, then seconded by Joey Sebastian80.
There were guests na gutom pagdating inupakan as in immediately ang lechon baka one full serving at may ulit pa. Reaction? Pre, that lechon baka really hits the spot! Hey, may lumabas pa nga ng high school grounds at nag take out ng fried rice to match the lechon baka.
Beyond doubt, ang lechon baka was an appetizing treat!
After the TSIBUGAN, INUMAN na!!! Ang occasion ay co-sponsored ng SAN MIGUEL BEER OKTOBERFEST kaya BAHA sa beer, ika nga bottomless ang inom. Drink ALL you can.
PULUTAN? Aside from the lechon baka, ipinasok namin ang buying outside na tricycle-like fish ball stand sa loob ng party grounds. Tusok dito, tusok doon, kahit ilan ang tusukin mo ay OKAY lang! And take note, ang mga sarsa COMPLETE sweet, sweet and sour, sweet and hot, vinegar sour with plenty of sibuyas. Hehehe!
TUGTUGAN? Whoa! There were 7 guest bands that night rendering rock & roll, new wave, Christian alternative rock, pinoy rock, oldies and 80s music.
LSQC HS bands Splinter, Kabanda, Final Grudge;
LSMs pride Crash Ambulance and Thumbs & Big Toes (our appreciation goes to LSMAA President Mane Fernandez80); and
Program 88 band (the ONLY band with a female vocalist) Analyn Oliveros with Joel Oliveros83, Roel Oliveros, James (pusong83) and Albert Oliveros78.
While our house band composed of Raul Clemente ('82) guitar/bass, HERBIE BUTED (GS'78) keyboards, James Felizardo (pusong '83) bass, Sam de Vera ('79) drums, Mon Correa ('82)drums/percussions, Koko Marbella76 mellow down the night with Jazz interpretations.
May HIGHLIGHT pah! It was the launching of the LSQC Alumni song entitled LOURDESIAN HANGGANG DULO that really described the typical Lourdesian student na nag-aral sa eskwelahan sa may APO Street. The house band feat Jojo Sebastian85, Jojo Versoza80, Tani Cinco80 vocalists with Mon Malana79 and Joey Sebastian80 on acoustic guitars while on stage singing nagkaroon pa ng audience participation pinakanta selected alumni ng part of the song
After the live performance ASTIG! Palakpakan!! Feedback? The song gave mga alumni present a back to the past in the brain memory archive recall of our high school days!!!
Then tuloy-tuloy ang tugtugan, inuman at pulutan sa magdamagan (Teka, during the event someone was missing towards the conclusion of the party and was found later sleeping sa isang sasakyan. Hihihi!)
Kidding aside, what was natira sa lechon baka ay buto na lang! Ang mga 20 kilong paninda na fishball ubos while the tindero eh umuwi lasing din!... AT ang beer? Hay nandoon pa, iniwan kong malamig pa rin!!
PS: Kudos to LSQCAA Executive Director Mon Cabigao79 Maaasahan ka talaga Salamat Pare!
